Do I need to be an ASU graduate student to apply to the program?

No. If you just want the certificate, check the prerequisites and apply for graduate non-degree admission (please contact the Division of Graduate Studies for additional information.) Then, download and complete the form for admission to the program and send it to the program director.

No. However, check the prerequisites from the Committee on Statistics before you apply.

I have taken some of the courses somewhere else, can I use them toward the program?

The five courses of the certificate program are specially designed to deliver skills and methodologies necessary to gain expertise in Six Sigma. Because of this, courses submitted for substitution credit will be evaluated by the program director. Courses to be considered should be noted on the certificate application form (see Admissions).
