Educational Activities

Graduate Education

  • IEE 591: Design Of Experiments / Statistical Process Control For Semiconductor Processing
  • Modeling & Analysis of Semiconductor Manufacturing Course
    • Taught for the first time in Spring 1997
    • 4 Intel, 5 Motorola, and 10 ASU full-time students
    • Guest speakers included: Devades Pillai (Intel), David Drain (Intel), Andreas Wild (Motorola)
  • Interdisciplinary Master 's Specialization in Semiconductor Manufacturing
The College of Engineering at ASU has recently made curriculum changes in the Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Engineering graduate programs to allow students to pursue INTERDISCIPLINARY studies in semiconductor processing and manufacturing, leading to masters degrees within their own discipline. Furthermore, these departments and others at ASU are working together to offer more LATE AFTERNOON/EARLY EVENING and TELEVISED courses to make it easier for engineers employed full-time in local industry to earn MASTERS DEGREES.
  • Technology MBA
The Technology MBA at Arizona State University is an Evening MBA program designed specifically for technology professionals. Cases, applications and examples used in the Technology MBA emphasize technology, global competition, and rapid organizational change. Elective coursework is selected by the student and is flexible to allow students to pursue advanced study in engineering, science, or business. Elective coursework can be taken either at the main campus or at the ASU Research Park site.
