The following list presents guidelines to help students write reports that are easy to read and understand. Some of the recommendations may not apply to every report; presentation of written arguments depends on the individual project situation. These tips are offered as basic guidelines. General Requirements for Report
Reports must follow the DMAIC outline and meet all minimum requirements identified below. The content, length and emphasis of individual sections within reports will vary based on actual findings and writing styles.
In demonstrate practical Six Sigma skills, course participants will develop and complete a Six Sigma Black Belt project (IEE 598 Six Sigma Methodology Capstone Project). The project will be typical of those used to certify Six Sigma Black Belts in industry, and will involve both oral and written presentation of results. The project expectations are as follows:
